The new KVM

Published on Wednesday, 16th September 2009.

My Aten KVM CS1642 arrived today and have just finished setting it up. It seems to work great, meaning I have a barely used dual VGA monitor KVM up for grabs - if you're interested, please leave a comment.

The new KVM supports all my multimedia keys and supports my fast key repeat rate, which makes it perfectly suitable. I do not own 2 DVI monitors yet, but when I do, the KVM will support switching between the two.

When I have the desk space, I think I'll get a second 24" monitor to finish off my ultimate developer setup. This should allow me to be more productive. :)

I also received the books I mentioned in a previous post. If I actually learn something, I might have some new articles to share.

I've also fixed up my code snippet display on this site. It was driving me insane for a while!
